• This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot double action revolvers or double action only semi-automatic pistols.

• Students learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling; nomenclature of the pistol parts and their operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.

• Firing range sessions will be conducted with a pistol suitable for self defense: 9mm / 38 special thru 45. No magnum ammunition will be used on the range but the "SPECIAL" version of the caliber may be used.
